Well it looks like 2011 has another milestone under its belt. Canalys Research put out a press release today with sales data on various computing devices such as Smartphones, Tablets, PCs and Netbooks. 2011 is the first year where smartphone sales have out numbered PC sales, with smartphones selling 158.5 million to PCs 120.2 million. It seems the mobile revolution in computing has really taken off and given Apple’s record sales last quarter, the IPhone is leading the way. New York City based Happymonitor Games Studio will bring the March iOS release of the studio’s debut game, Islands Of Diamonds to even more players later in year with an Android version of the game. The Android release will be available through the Android Marketplace and Amazon App Store in Q2 2012.
